IMG is more than a collection of 57 highly regarded motor coach companies. Our solid network of companies is dedicated to operating under these six guiding principles for the benefit of our customers:
Experience
Reputation
Dependability
Maintenance
Safety
Equipment
We’ve been around the block a few hundred times.
When you select an IMG company, you get over 2,000 years of combined experience in transportation services for groups of all sizes. These time-honored companies have been not only passed down from generation to generation, but also built on the belief of treating customers like family.
It isn’t just who you know, it’s who you are that counts.
We’re honored that IMG companies have a reputation for being the most trusted in the industry. As this reputation continues to be recognized by customers worldwide, it’s no wonder we have a growing number of transportation providers who want to be a part of our success.
Our operators are always standing by their word.
Dependability is the number one reason customers travel with IMG companies. That’s why we work hard to ensure our member companies are working together to create a coast-to-coast network of dependable carriers.
Each member agrees to stringent requirements and monitoring of their entire operation. Because IMG is a member-owned organization, the members themselves have collectively set the safety and customer standards by which all must operate.
What does this mean for you? You can always rely on an IMG operator to get you where you need to go safely and on time.
Our standards go miles beyond the minimum.
While the FMCSA regulations are required safety standards, the philosophy at IMG is to always go miles beyond. That’s why our members are closely monitored by IMG staff to ensure the proper requirements are met. Our strict guidelines also go beyond safety. We look at customer convenience, equipment appearance, and environmental responsiveness with the same priority as safety related issues.
We’re always driving for the safest measures.
IMG members exceed the minimum requirements of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) in safety measures. Motor coach drivers are carefully screened for employment and must go through the mandated IMG Driver Training Program.
In fact, when the IMG Driver Training Program was first initiated, drivers were required to pass the proficiency test with seasoned drivers using the program for continuing education and to challenge themselves with becoming an IMG "Certified Driver".
Many IMG companies have taken advantage of grant funding available from the Department of Homeland Security and are implementing comprehensive security training programs. These programs are designed to implement extensive security measures that help protect our facilities, equipment and most importantly, you and your group.
IMG holds an annual Maintenance and Safety Forum, which is a required meeting where members work together to share success stories about safety and maintenance in order to improve best practices in these areas. Members also hold regular safety meetings within their own companies.
We have a national fleet with a local presence.
As a consortium of 57 independently owned companies, each owner has the freedom to provide other means of transportation in addition to motor coaches. As a result, IMG companies have a combined fleet of more than 7,000 vehicles including 56 passenger luxury motor coaches, mid size motor coaches, mini-buses, vans, limos and school buses.
Although this is one of the largest fleets in North America, each vehicle is locally owned and maintained within smaller fleets. This is our secret to operating safe, dependable, and successful businesses.
